Dr. John Humphreys (Since 2018)
Integrating Information to Manage Landscapes for Featured Species
Dr. John Humphreys received his PhD in Geography from Florida State University and brings extensive experience in quantitative methods and biogeography to our lab. John is primarily responsible for implementing a Michigan Department of Natural Resources - Wildlife Division project that aims to integrate existing information on priority management species into a modeling framework and database that ultimately results in a spatially explicit wildlife management tool for use by field biologists and planners to document and monitor their activities. Although Dr. Humphreys moved on to different career opportunities in 2019, he continues to stay involved and active in lab research projects.
